Allison's Done-that list:

Bich Dong Pagoda, Ninh Binh, Viet Nam

I rode bikes from the center of Ninh Binh to Bich Dong Pagoda. There was an area at the bottom of the pagoda to park our bikes – there were probably about 50 bikes already there when we got there. Bich Dong is a series of pagodas on a hill. The main arch (pictured) is the majestic religious entrance to the pagoda which looks like it came out of a film. The steps are steep, especially right after the rain, so bring walking shoes and a water bottle. On the hike there are pagodas and cave to explore.

Address: Bich Dong Pagoda, Ninh Hải, Hoa Lư District, Ninh Bình Province, Vietnam
